About Us

In 1935, Clarence Bontrager founded Bontrager’s Auction Service with a focus on personal service, honesty, and professionalism. His sons Alferd and Wilbur later joined as auctioneers. Alferd took the reins, expanding both the auction and real estate sectors, and guiding the business for decades. Todd Jantzi, Alferd's cousin, came on board in 1995 and now leads with a commitment to uphold the legacy established by the Bontrager family.

Please call ahead (585-343-4529) if you are visiting our auction center. Appointments are required for picking up items, dropping off consignments, or meeting with the auctioneer.

• Saturday & Sunday: Closed

We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Black Friday, Christmas Day.
